Amazing Autumn!

Autumn is my absolutely favorite time of year and gives me so much inspiration for my yoga sessions. As many of you know I love to use children's stories and natural resources in my teaching ~ both keep my classes interesting and exciting for the children and encourage them to be inquisitive and focused during my sessions.

I live and teach in West London within a really rich multicultural community which feeds my creativity even more! I feel very honored to teach children and adults from a wide range of religious and cultural heritage and we openly discus faiths, cultures and beliefs which is beautiful.

The Story of Rama and Sita for Diwali

I have led well-being sessions inspired by Autumn and Harvest in a faith school. I am lucky enough to visit this school each term, working with a different Key Stage each time. This term was the turn for the lower school and we enjoyed Autumn animal poses, such as hedgehog, bat, fox, squirrel and scarecrow. The children were incredible and asked me when I am returning.

I have led Diwali yoga sessions in schools in Southall and Northolt (where I am lucky enough to teach every week.) Many of the children in these schools are from Sikh and Hindu faith and were delighted to share their faith and family traditions and helped me re-tell the Diwali story authentically.

I continue to teach 1:2 classes in my home studio, I am currently working with a child (who is currently being home educated)and their mum. They come 2 x a month and we work on breath, focus, balance, stretching and flexibility all within the framework of yoga. Both parent and child look forward to these sessions and leave looking grounded, calm and relaxed. I absolutely love leading these sessions and feel very grateful for my lovely home studio where we practice together.

Finally this weekend I have taught Halloween themed Saturday sessions in Hanwell, where some of the children dressed up and we balanced pumpkins, enjoyed scary witch poses, bat inversions and firework dances! Our Saturday sessions for 6-11 year old's are currently full and we have so much fun! We regularly have space at our parent and child sessions for 3.5-6 year old's! If you would like to bring Kids Yoga Flo to your school (for a well-being day once every now and then or a more regular visit) then please get in touch! I am pretty much full up until Christmas but I do have some availability in the New Year!

Please get in touch if you'd like to join my Saturday Sessions - Parent and Child 3.5-6 years 9:00-9:45 and then Children aged 6-11 years from 10:00-11:00, 2 Saturdays a month.

I can also visit Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts etc and also private parties!

Also please remember I lead adult yoga classes in schools and every Tuesday in Hanwell ~ these sessions have been so beautifully received and are full of people I have known through teaching, parenting and friends from Hanwell and surrounding areas. Finally finally I am so excited to announce I will be embarking on my Teen Training at Easter '26 with the renowned Teen Yoga for a 5 day face to face training in central London!!!!!
